New England Samoyed Rescue Application for Adoption Consideration

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Samoyed through NESR. Our goal is to place each dog in a home where they’ll be cherished, understood, and supported for life. This application helps us ensure the best possible match between dog and adopter.

Requirements to Adopt:

• You must be at least 25 years of age.

• Applicants may need to show a utility bill or lease agreement to confirm residence.

• Home visit to confirm the environment is safe and suitable (can be done virtually).

• Have an approved adoption application, phone interview and home visit (which can

be done virtually) and review/signature of the contract and waiver liability release

(hold harmless).

• Renters must provide written landlord permission to keep a dog.

• Adoption fees: Covers spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and

sometimes a vet exam.

• Samoyed /Nordic breed preferred but not required.
